1. The most blender mistake we do is by changing the content from any previously submitted scholars. Avoid using this, because it could be an outdated format. Because University is changing formats periodically. 
2. The most important thing they verify in  University is the signatures in the entire document. so make sure you have got sign wherever needed. 
3. Make sure the "HOD of the scholar" and "HOD of the supervisor of the scholar" are meant rightly(which took me two Tatkal tickets to learn). Because they seeing these inks keenly. 
4. Stick on to the format when readying the Synopsis Report( that printed and bounded booklet we attach during submission). Make sure it doesn't exceeds 18 pages with list of reference and list of publications in individual pages. 
5. Affix stamp in Claim bill if needed
